Dieter Müller appointed Deputy Managing Director

The Supervisory Board of Vaillant GmbH has appointed engineering graduate Dieter Müller as Deputy Managing Director with effect from February 1. The Management Board of Vaillant GmbH thus consists of Claes Göransson and Dieter Müller. The operational business of Vaillant Group will continue to be managed by the Group Executive Committee composed of six managers. Dieter Müller is responsible in this management team for Manufacturing. Claes Göransson heads the Group Executive Committee.

Dieter Müller was born in Marburg, Germany, on July 2, 1963. Having qualified as a toolmaker and then studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University in Darmstadt, he joined Vaillant Group in 1992. Here he carried out various managerial functions, and among other tasks he was responsible for the spare parts business and the building up of the operations in Eastern Europe. He has been responsible for Manufacturing across the Group since the end of 2004.
